Effigy
By GameSlash
Local AI-assisted 3D character, rigging, animation and sprite preparation.
Effigy combines image/text-driven 3D generation, cleanup, texturing, rigging and animation on a local machine for preparing game characters and props.
Follow the setup guide, download the required models, start with a reference or concept and review each stage before export. Formats target Godot, Unreal and Unity plus 2D sprites; Unity and Unreal Paper2D imports remain unverified by the developer.
The reference machine uses Windows 11, 16 GB NVIDIA VRAM and 32 GB RAM. Allow roughly 70–160 GB disk space depending on models. AMD RX 9070/9070 XT supports only the Fast chain; Linux needs source setup and macOS is unsupported. Some models require accepting gated Hugging Face terms.
Local processing after installation is the project’s documented behavior, not a GameSlash security test. Outputs need review. Most code is MIT; blender_ops is GPL-3.0-or-later. Models and datasets retain separate terms. Inspect export CREDITS.txt and LICENSES.json; code licensing does not guarantee every asset’s rights.
