Godot AI
By GameSlash
Connect coding assistants to the live Godot editor to inspect and edit scenes, scripts and interfaces.
Godot AI connects Claude Code, Codex and Cursor to Godot through MCP. Assistants can inspect scene trees and work with nodes, scripts, signals, cameras, materials, animation and interface elements.
Setup: use Godot 4.7 or later, install uv and the addon, enable it in Project Settings → Plugins, then configure a compatible assistant from the Godot AI dock.
Limits: GDScript parsing is supported, but C# editing is text-only; the addon does not compile .NET or report compiler errors. Review changes and test the game yourself. The project uses the MIT license; AI-provider access and costs depend on your assistant.
