Warhorse sees AI can help scale games, but shouldn't replace dev teams.
By Gameslash Editorial
Martin Klíma from the Kingdom Come: Deliverance team views replacing human game creators with AI as a flawed concept, though it can reduce repetitive work and boost efficiency.
Martin Klíma, an executive at Warhorse Studios, the team behind Kingdom Come: Deliverance, says replacing developers with generative AI is flawed from the outset because games still derive their value from human decisions and creativity.

However, he sees AI as useful for reducing repetitive work and potentially letting teams create larger games at a similar cost. The question is therefore not how many tasks AI can perform, but which tasks should remain under the development team's control.
This is an executive perspective, not an official announcement that Warhorse will officially stop using or start using AI in any game.
